Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.

I am from Ohio, and I’ve lived here most of my life. There are some really cool things to do here, but our most famous attraction is Cedar Point.

And I have never been there.

When I meet people from other states, one of the first questions they ask me is usually about Cedar Point, as it’s very well known. And I have to sheepishly admit that in all my many years I have never been. What’s worse is that I have no reason why. It’s not far away or anything.

I have, however, been to Ohio’s other famous amusement park, King’s Island. We used to go several times a year when I was a kid. We even go down for their winter celebrations.

I’ve also been to Disney World several times, even though it’s nowhere near home.

So I’ll make it a point, pun intended, to visit Cedar Point when the weather is better. I’ve been meaning to visit Cleveland anyway, and they’re not that far apart.
